​Moolman Trailers was established in 1988 by Piet Moolman.  Valuable knowledge and experience as qualified jig tool & die maker  at Atlas Aircraft corporation as well as the Film Industry locally and abroad contributed toward the success of  his companies. Piet returned from Canada during 2003 and mainly focussed on applying his experience in the film industry to his company, Filmworks Manufacturing which he established upon his return to South Africa, manufacturing from aluminium dolly tracks,grip & lighting equipment, camera platforms etc. He also expanded his business to the manufacturing of palisade fencing,balustrades, driveway, safety gates,design & manufacturing, milling & turning,general engineering & aluminium stainless steel tig welding.
